Event | Glamorous wedding at the Glessner House Museum

Tim Manning and Sarah Raskey tied the knot last weekend and we loved every minute of working with them to cater the seated dinner for approximately 150 guests at Chicago’s Glessner House Museum.

Our sushi chef, Carlos, rolled sushi for guests during the cocktail hour (at one point the line for sushi was as long as the line for the bar!) while the catering staff of Limelight Events hand passed appetizers like shrimp cocktail, peppadew pepper poppers and chicken sliders. Wedding guests chose their main entree for dinner from three options: vegetable pasta, pork tenderloin or surf and turf (pork tenderloin and grilled lobster tail). While guests were arriving and enjoying cocktails, we were grilling the lobster, pork and vegetables for the main entree using the grill and smoker on the rig at the Glessner House property so that we could serve dinner plated straight from the grill.
