All event dates are available on a first come, first serve basis; please reserve early to ensure your date is available. All showroom events boast gorgeous riverfront views of Chicago, a fully stocked bar and easy access to public transportation, parking and cabs.

Big Hatt Gourmet Cocktail Reception


Host a cocktail reception the Merchandise Mart for groups as small as 30 people or as large as 100 or more. Your guests will enjoy cocktails with bar snacks, passed appetizers or live serving stations. A full open bar including liquors, a selection of domestic, import and craft beers and red and white wines will be included.

Big Hatt Gourmet Chef’s Table Dinner


For a more intimate event experience, a Chef’s table dinner is a great option for groups of 20 people or more, with a maximum of 32. Chef Craig Bell and the Big Hatt Gourmet culinary team will prepare a live multi-course dinner — the experience will make you and your guests feel as though you’re seated at your favorite restaurant’s chefs table, in the middle of the kitchen! Beer and wine will be served to guests prior to being seated for, and during, the family style dinner.

Big Hatt Gourmet Executive Chef Craig Bell In Home Chef

Big Hatt Gourmet would love to bring the party (both food and drinks!) to your home, office or private event space. Our team will prepare selected menu items and serve buffet or passed by wait staff at the location of your choice. This event package includes a bartender and fully stocked bar. Menu options are subject to guest count and client expectation.
